BEIJING TAILONG PLAZA HOTEL, Beijing – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious with a heavy smoke smell, but on the bright side, I had a huge apartment with a view of Tiananmen Square. The service was a bit of a letdown with misquoted room rates and breakfast conditions, yet the staff were really nice and always arranged taxis for us. The location was excellent, close to the metro and within walking distance of major attractions, but the hotel being on a service bit of the road made it hard for taxis to stop near the entrance. Dining options were limited for Western tastes, mostly Chinese, but still fresh and delicious. The facilities were good overall.
